💡
The Landblock is a fundamental and versatile building block used in creating static geometry in the level.
</aside>
Landblocks typically provide the ground plane for a level. They can be easily scaled by clicking and dragging the yellow arrows.
Hold down alt while dragging an arrow in order to mirror the scaling on the opposite side of the landblock.
Landblock settings
Random Seed
- This is used to randomize the landblock’s corner locations.
Rectangular
- Toggle for rectangular landblocks instead of randomized polygons.
Uniform
- Toggle for the skirt expanding over the whole landblock
Width / Length / Height
- the 3 above are the dimensions of the landblock
Top Height
- How high the coloured top part is
Top Expansion
- How much the top part sticks out over the sides of the landblock
Create skirt
- Toggle the irregular skirt area that hangs off the top part.
Skirt Height
- How far down the skirt droops.
Skirt Variance
- How much over/under the skirt can go from the value set in Skirt Height.
- Can’t be more than the set height.
Skirt Frequency
- Varies the geometry of the skirt.
Length per clip
Rounded edges
- Toggle for rounding out the corners of the landblock.
Round Steps
- How many times each corner is split. A higher value leads to a smoother corner.
Round size
- Makes rounded corners tighter or rounder.
Weld Distance
- Affects the amount of vertical edges in the landblock.
Bevel
- Toggle to add a bevel to the top.
Bevel Height
- Affects the rounding of the bevel.
